LFW A/W 2012 Day One: Zoe Jordan

Zoe Jordan’s beautiful and Instantly wearable AW collection took us on a journey to Andalucia, Spain where the sun sets in burnt orange hues and rises to reflect brilliantly off the whitewashed Andalucian pueblos.

Inspired by these sweeping plains and the Moorish Palace that dwells there Jordan’s AW 12 offering was a cohesive collection bursting with gold threaded tweed capes, simply sweeping silk dresses, poncho infused knits and luxe leather and lace.

In rich hues of deep wine, chestnut brown and siville orange the palette captured an autumnal warmth against wintery charcol greys and pebble whites.

While in keeping with a modern, architectural edge, sleek ovoid tees, dresses and shorts displayed origami folds and jarquard snakeskin texture as leather panels and separates toughend up the sheer delicate lace.

Nonchalantly belted waists tie up this feminine yet handsome collection with cordobes hats and whispy flowing plaits adding some elegant androgeny to this delightful flamenco fare.
