What is in your sketchbook?
My sketchbook mainly contains humans without faces and bright colors. I recount my discomfort about our society’s conformity and the it’s idea of individualism.
Where do you design?
I’m drawing on my desk or on the train when I’m traveling.
What inspires your work?
A part of my inspiration comes from technology and astrobiology (the study of the origin, evolution, distribution, and the future of life in the universe). I am fascinated by the infinite life in the universe and the people in our society. I observe them and get ideas for my work. From an aesthetic perspective, I take my inspiration in the eighties, where the colors and the extravagance captivate me. the DY movies for the special effects and artists like Bruce Nauman, Louise Bourgeois, and Linder Sterling.
What music do you listen to?
I am open to all sorts of music like rock, jazz, french music. My favorites are indie pop like The dø, Friends, Django Django, electronic music like the Thieves like us, Grimes, Chromatics, experimental music like the Youth Lagoon, Micachu and new wave from the eighties such as DEVO, Taxi Girl, Tears for Fears Taxi girl.
What did you have for breakfast?
I like cereal in a bowl of milk with apple juice.
