The museum are following the Zandra Rhodes exhibition up with the highly anticipated Bellville Sassoon exhibition – a major retrospective of Britain’s foremost high-society couture label. The exhibition will include stunning couture, ready-to-wear and wedding dresses as well as a selection of dresses created for the Royal ladies. The Museum has also been involved with the creation of a new book ‘How to Draw Like a Fashion Designer’ which leading art publisher Thames & Hudson commissioned. The new book from Newham College’s Fashion and Textile Museum, is based on its popular drawing workshops for children, written by Celia Joicey and Dennis Nothdruft from the museum will be released on 30 September 2013.
The Exhibition will take place from the 20th of September, 2013, until the 11th of January, 2014.
Doors will be open from Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 6pm.
Last admissions are at 5:15pm.
It will be closed on Sundays and Mondays.
